课程简介
In this unit, you will draw upon key concepts, theories and methods from the disciplines of International Political Economy (IPE), International Relations (IR) and History, to analyse the global capitalist economy. You will explore how different combinations of two key institutions — the state and the market — have been important in governing the capitalist world economy. You will examine how global economic governance as a liberal economic project was consolidated, who benefited, and who challenged it at various turning points since the mid-20th century and how these dynamics play out in the contemporary era.
