课程简介
The aim of this unit is to prepare you to conduct research and innovation in the IT industry. It provides broad coverage of the issues, concepts, methods, and techniques associated with the contemporary IT professional as you conduct research, and design and evaluate new products and services. It introduces you to major research and innovation paradigms, the principles of research and innovation design, responsible research and innovation, and research and innovation methods and techniques within IT industry. It also covers how to effectively communicate the results research and innovation through the established method of short-form video. Skills developed and knowledge acquired from this unit will prepare you to plan, conduct and communicate research and innovation within an IT organisation, as well as to be knowledgeable and critical interpreters of research and innovation more generally.

- ULO6 Communicate the outcomes of research and innovation activities, demonstrating an understanding of diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Peer assisted learning - You will prepare for studios each using online learning material. You will work in groups between 3-4 students in studios (depending on the activity). The assessment in this unit involves weekly quizzes in Moodle and two assignments.
预期工作量
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled online and face to face learning activities and independent study. Independent study may include associated reading and preparation for scheduled teaching activities.
