课程简介
You will undertake a supervised research project involving research of a high standard which forms the basis of a thesis presented at the end of the year.
As part of the unit you will present seminars on your research, and are trained in advanced public health research techniques.
These facilitate the development of key graduate attributes required in public health and health science students in the area of research methods and analysis. You must demonstrate key writing, critical thinking and analytical skills.

- ULO1 Demonstrate the skills required with all processes involved in the design, development and implementation of a health science or public health research project;
- ULO2 Critically evaluate the current literature and provide rationale and aims for the project;
- ULO3 Discuss the ethical issues involved in their research project;
- ULO4 Organise, manage and analyse research data using techniques required
- ULO5 Communicate research findings though both written and verbal formats

• Directed learning and project work 15 hours per week.
• Regular project supervision (1-2 hours per fortnight).
• Self-directed learning/private study up to 15 hours per week. (i.e. A total of up to 32 hours per week or 4 days per week across a year)
