课程简介
The unit aims to develop analytical abilities and communication skills, as well as provide you with advanced knowledge in specific areas of Health Science. You will undertake a module of statistics relevant to scientific hypothesis testing and provide a written critique of a scientific article.
You will also undertake a component of work within health science that involves advanced research methods training.

- ULO1 Critically review the scientific literature in their discipline;
- ULO2 Construct a formal research question and apply the appropriate research methodology required to address the research question.

预期工作量
Four class contact hours per week (seminar style), attendance of a weekly colloquium (1-2 hours per week), plus regular project supervision (1-2 hours per fortnight). In addition, as per University requirements, you will be required to spend up to 20 hours per week in private study/self-directed learning (i.e. a total of 24 hours per week).
