课程简介
This unit provides you with the opportunity to work in teams to complete an integrated design project (IDP) which draws upon the knowledge and skills that you have developed throughout the course of your degree. It also includes instruction in the use of design software tools for 3D modelling, assembly, finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and design optimisation. Societal, health, safety, legal and cultural aspects will also be considered where appropriate.

The minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of 3-6 hours of scheduled learning activities and 6-9 hours of independent study per week. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher-directed learning, peer-directed learning and online engagement. Independent study may include associated readings, assessment and preparation for scheduled activities.
